From March 1st to 7th, our energy engineers proudly took part in Engineers Week by visiting local primary schools across Wexford, Waterford, and Carlow to host engaging talks. This exciting initiative, run in collaboration with our partner Local Authorities, aims to inspire young minds and introduce them to the fascinating world of engineering, energy, and problem-solving. Through real-world examples, our engineers encouraged pupils to think about different types of energy, energy consumption and sustainability, sparking curiosity about how they can contribute to a cleaner, more efficient future.

Beyond energy discussions, our energy engineers also provided insights into the role itself — solving challenges, tackling climate change, shaping the future and empowering students to see themselves as potential engineers who can make a difference.

By bringing these conversations into the classroom, we hope to inspire the next generation to explore STEM careers and take an active role in shaping a more sustainable world. Engineers Week was a fantastic opportunity to share knowledge, ignite passion, and encourage young thinkers to become the problem-solvers of tomorrow.

Thank you to all the students and teachers who joined us for these inspiring workshops.
