About EU Peers, IHRS, and OSS:

For homeowners, energy renovation is a daunting journey. They are often new to the subject, with little experience and capacity for the huge coordination effort. At the same time, their commitment is crucial to improving the residential building stock and reducing GHG emissions in Europe. This is where Integrated Home Renovation Services (IHRS) come in.

IHRSs (also known as One-Stop-Shops/OSS) offer most renovation services from a single source. This can include consultations for residents, preparation of the renovation project, selection of service provider companies, attracting additional financing, quality control of the renovation works, and maintenance and monitoring of the results. Thus, IHRSs are key to increasing the residential renovation rates across Europe.

EU Peers aims to strengthen and upscale the IHRS movement. Centrepiece is its Community of Practice. This Community is dedicated to IHRS practitioners and stakeholders, serving as a space to network, build expertise, and move forward together. EU Peers is also committed to improving framework conditions for IHRS through advocacy, policy recommendations, and dialogue with market stakeholders.

EU Peers will have a focus on…

  • Italy
  • France
  • Spain
  • Latvia
  • Hungary
  • Ireland

But organisations from outside these countries can still get involved.

And has partners from across Europe…
