The Repower Industries consortium convened in Kilkenny, Ireland, for the 3rd Interregional Project Event, hosted by South East Energy Agency from 12th to 13th March 2025.
Day one featured case study presentations showcasing innovative energy solutions, a deep dive into the South East region’s energy landscape, and an interactive workshop on industry challenges in transitioning to clean energy. A key highlight was the study visit to Danone Nutricia, Wexford – the world’s first carbon-neutral baby formula plant, certified by The Carbon Trust.
Day two focused more on discussions on policy changes and regional market analysis, and steering committee meeting to map out next steps for the Project.
The Interreg Europe Repower Industries Project is dedicated to enhancing industrial energy independence and security through better policies and collaboration.
