With many workplaces finishing up this week before the festive celebrations, we are sharing with you a holiday switch-off list to help you check off before you leave work.
Anything we can switch off before we leave work will help to shave a bit off the peak electricity demand from 5-7 pm. The lower we can go on our energy use the less strain there will be on the system during these challenging winter months.
Have a look around and see what can be safely switched off or even unplugged. Before the holidays, maybe have a discussion with your colleagues about the communal office equipment or shared kitchen appliances and decide what’s not needed and who will switch it off.
