Fifth European Climate Pact Lunch Talk Webinar

South East Energy Agency invites you to the fifth European Climate Pact Lunch Talk Webinar tagged, ‘Circular Economy‘, at 1:00pm on Thursday, 12th December 2024. The aim of this webinar is to raise awareness, share knowledge, foster collaboration, highlight the importance and principles of the circular economy such as regenerating natural systems and ultimately, drive action. It will feature an interactive session where participants can share their experiences, and a Q&A session.

Our line up of speakers include Climate Pact Ambassador, Dr. Shirley Gallagher, Circular Economist and Chief Operating Officer, Second Life Battery Services Ltd. She will be speaking on what Circular Economy entails and more specifically on the topic, ‘Batteries: The Need to Marry Regulations and Develop a System that Supports Circular Economy’. Our second speaker is also a Climate Pact Ambassador, Kilkenny County Councillor and Chairperson of Keep Kilkenny Beautiful, a Tidy Towns group; Cllr. Maria Dollard. She will be talking about Climate Change and Local Government. Our third speaker, Daniel Montalvo, Head of Clean and Circular Economy, European Environment Agency, will be speaking on ‘Accelerating Circular Economy in Europe’.
