The Playstation Family Entertainment Centre offers a fun, spacious, safe and clean children’s indoor play centre at in Kilkenny City, in addition they also have a restaurant and dining area for patrons to enjoy.

The Playstation approached South East Energy Agency looking to reduce both their carbon footprint and energy costs. The team at South East Energy Agency coordinated the entire BEC application from the initial energy audit, procurement to warranty checks and all required paperwork.

It was evident that the lighting, heating and refrigeration / kitchen equipment drew the most electrical demand for the Playstation building, counting for approx. 75% of the overall demand. This is where the focus was aligned to achieve energy savings.
